Job Title: Frontend Games Developer

Job Description:

Greencastle Digital are hiring! We are looking for a talented and motivated Frontend Games Developer with 2 years+ experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HTML5, JavaScript and GIT, with experience in any previous frontend 2D game engine frameworks being advantageous. As a Frontend Games Developer, you will work closely with our design and backend teams to create seamless, engaging and beautiful user interfaces for our gaming products.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain player-facing features using HTML5, JavaScript and CSS v3;

· Collaborate with Graphic designers to layout, animate and build iGaming game interfaces for Slots, Roulette and Blackjack-style games and more;

· Optimize game interfaces for maximum performance and reliability across a wide variety of Mobile and Desktop browser platforms;

· Maintain code integrity and version control using GIT (Bitbucket, Gitlab or Github advantageous);

· Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend components with gaming platform protocols and services;

· Participate in code reviews and contribute to a highly creative and collaborative development environment.

Requirements:

· 2 years+ experience in frontend development;

· Proficient with HTML5, JavaScript and CSS v3 technologies;

· Experience with version control systems, ideally GIT (BitBucket, Github or Gitlab);

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail and quality of output;

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills;

· Abilit to manage time effectively and meet deadlines;

· Advantageous: Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence, for designs/technical documentation;

· Advantageous: Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline tools, such as Jenkins;

· Advantageous: Familiarity/experience with 2D game engines, within an iGaming context is a plus;

· Advantageous: Experience with webpack, ESLint and related JS tools.
