About the Role:
We’re looking for an agile, hands-on HR Manager to join our growing team in Belgrade. This is a local standalone role which forms part of a wider People team based in different locations. The individual will have full responsibility for the local employee lifecycle including hiring and onboarding to payroll liaison and local legislative compliance. You'll play a key role in shaping our employee experience in Serbia while ensuring we remain legally compliant and culturally aligned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Onboarding: support the recruitment teams to carry out end-to-end hiring processes for Serbia-based roles, from job posting and interviews through to offer and onboarding.
- Employee Lifecycle: Act as the go-to for all local HR matters, supporting employees from their first day to their last, including probation reviews, contract changes, and exits.
- Legal & Compliance: Ensure all employment contracts and processes align with Serbian labour law and company policies; support the legal setup of new employees.
- Payroll & Benefits: Liaise with external payroll providers, ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, and manage employee benefits registration and tracking.
- HR Operations: Maintain accurate employee records, respond to HR queries, and continuously improve local HR processes.
- Culture & Engagement: Help embed our company values and culture within the Belgrade team, supporting engagement initiatives and team activities.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in an HR generalist or standalone HR role in Serbia, ideally in the Tech/IT Industry
- Strong knowledge of Serbian employment law and HR best practices
- Hands-on, proactive attitude with the ability to work independently
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Fluent in Serbian and English
